OUR STORY

Born in the heart of Prague in 1883, Fratelli Janoušek Srl draws its roots from a family of flavorists, guardians of an ancient knowledge of herbs, essences, and passion.

At the beginning of the 1900s, the family moved to Trieste, bringing with them a precious wealth of experience in perfecting the art of flavoring, specializing in the creation of aromas and natural extracts of the highest quality.

Among their best-kept secrets stands the original recipe for their amaro: a formula passed down from generation to generation that today lives again in Opposit 1883. It is a bridge between eras and places — between Prague and Trieste — that blends tradition and innovation in an authentic and refined spirit.
